While the last few mornings have been below freezing, I have been rewarded with lots of Frost Fun in my yard. Today's subject was the Dogwood tree in my back yard. This tree is the last tree to bloom in the spring and the last one to lose it's leaves. This affords me some wonderful color in my yard and fun with the leaves like I had today.
Some leaves hang late, some fall
before the first frost-so goes
the tale of winter branches and old bones
