Sandy has come to town and so far I think we are lucky. Lots of rain, wicked winds but that's it so far. However, they are telling us this is just beginning and all through the night this could get worse.
Took a few shots of from the front porch before the rain and wind got really bad and before we lost the light of day.
I think carrying the camera tomorrow is a must!

We went for a walk around noon and were amazed at the sheer volume and variety of the downed leaves today. Like a natural shag rug!
