Beechview-Seldom Seen Greenway (259/366)

Took a little drive today to this spot a fellow photographer told me about.  I thought we were going somewhere that might involve trespassing, but that was not the case.  It was a nice little walk in till we could get to the flat area near the water and it was time to have some camera fun!

Lots of wildflowers and flowing water but definitely too much trash for such a pretty area.  Apparently this area was dedicated to Edward E. Smuts who's vision was to preserve Pittsburgh's wooded hillsides. Twenty-two acres of this Greenway was given as a living memorial to Mr. Smuts by The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.

I will definitely take time to come back here again as the leaves start to change or perhaps when the white stuff starts to fall.
