It's always good to see Francisco Cervelli in the line-up. Always a great smile. Great work behind the plate and who doesn't love his walk-up song!
It was a bit painful today though. Our young pitcher, Glasnow, was having a tough time of it today and the first two innings took over an hour. Thankfully we opened things up in the 5th with a 5 spot and held it from there. Thankfully, at about the same time we started to score, it looked like rain and almost felt like it was cooling off ever so slightly. We got the W and the Cubs and Cards lost so all in all, it was a good day!
