Today my thoughts were on getting to see Justin Verlander pitch. We have seen the Tigers 3 previous times and missed him in the rotation and when I was calculating ahead, we were going to miss him again. That was until a blister caused a rotation change and we got lucky!
Now as much as I wanted to see Verlander pitch, I didn't want the Tigers to win, but not every series can be a sweep. So our Pirates took at 3-2 loss but so did the Reds so all is still well in the baseball world.
Hitting is timing. Pitching is upsetting timing.
