Today is the final day of my second 366 photo project and while this is the end of one project, I know the New Year will be bringing me new adventures.  New adventures I hope to start this weekend.  It's going to be cold but my heart will be filled with warmth as I move on to next phase in my life.

So here I am, with my first of many blank pages and I am excited to fill them with beautiful photographs, words of wisdom and a lot of humor!

In The Rain and Mist.....

It's January and almost 50F.  This is not typical weather for this time of year.  Rain for the last two days have made getting anything outdoors done, next to impossible.  Impossible except for my neighbor Dan who was taking his Christmas lights off the house tonight, in the dark, in the rain.

Oh well, time to curl up and get a good night's sleep.

So yes, even though it's January 1st, 2017, my 366 project is not done.  I started a few days into 2016, unsure if I wanted to do another yearlong project or not.

I am glad I did and while I know I will miss it, I am looking forward to the break.

2017 did not disappoint.  What a beautiful morning we woke up to and the clouds and sky after we left the movie were just as wonderful.

Here's to filling the blank, 365 page book with memories and moments we never want to forget!

Never get tired of the blue skies!
